The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge and experience in U.S. Navy ordnance management.The Ordnance SME will assist the Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Atlantic (CNSL) in force wide ordnance management, training and inspection. You will be responsible for maintaining ordnance audit readiness by facilitating the performance of Management Review Controls (MRCs) by subordinate commands. MRC efforts will include TYCOM selection of audit samples providing to subordinate Unit Supervisors, collection of MRC reviews, and submission of results within the NAVSUP BSC MOP Dashboard. You will also assist in scheduling Shipboard Explosive Safety Inspections, track and correct In-transits, process PRI-03’s, Qual Cert letters, and explosive waivers.
