Job summary

The role focuses on analyzing readiness, maintenance history, and trends to improve operational logistics and readiness metrics. The candidate will prepare reports, briefings, and policy updates, while coordinating with government stakeholders and program offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, military science, engineering, or related field (equiv. exp. accepted).
• Minimum 5 years in logistics, supply chain, or sustainment planning.
• Experience analyzing logistics data and preparing reports/briefings.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and pass background checks.
• Willingness to travel periodically and support extended hours for training or mission requirements.
• Advisory role; refer inherently governmental decisions to authorized government officials.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics analysis, sustainment planning, and supply chain support for National Guard CBRNE programs.
• Analyze readiness data, supply status, maintenance history, and trends to support readiness.
• Prepare reports, executive summaries, and briefings for NGB leadership.
• Support updates to logistics policies and sustainment plans in line with Joint Logistics Doctrine.
• Monitor logistics systems, equipment fielding, and lifecycle management of COTS equipment.
• Assist in equipment fielding reviews, NET coordination, and on-hand objectives.
• Participate in inspections, inventories, and readiness evaluations during training and missions.
• Provide guidance and support to WMD-CST, HRF, and CERFP units on logistics issues.
• Draft recurring deliverables and reports for leadership review.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in logistics operations.
• Support logistics training, briefings, and staff meetings on processes and accountability.
• Perform advisory duties and route inherently governmental decisions appropriately.
