Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to optimize the flow of materials, information and services from origin to customer placement. You will perform system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and IPS for major systems, ensuring efficient logistics execution.

You will collaborate with purchasing, warehouse and production to develop material requirements, scheduling and movement plans, driving continuous process improvement across logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience; or Master's degree and 4+ years of related experience.

• Performs system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
• Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
• May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
• Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
• Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience.
