Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer in Gregory, TX for a one-year assignment. This role involves oversight during construction and commissioning of LNG export projects, ensuring project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the LNG industry, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and knowledge of relevant regulations. The position offers a dynamic work environment with onsite responsibilities and occasional travel to Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Rotating Equipment Engineer with a process plant background.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of EPC contractor and subcontractors' safety.
• Monitor equipment installation for compliance with project specifications.
• Assure plant performance during commissioning and startup.
• Respond to RFIs and NCRs from stakeholders.
• Support Management of Change for plant modifications.

Skills

Understanding of LNG processing

Knowledge of installation and commissioning

Knowledge of FERC, USCG, DOT and OSHA regulations

Knowledge of rotating equipment operation
