Job summary

Freeport LNG is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to manage minor capital projects within the Freeport LNG Engineering team, with duties including preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned engineering projects.

You’ll ensure compliance with applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. The role requires working with multiple engineering disciplines and demonstrates strong project management, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reviews project scopes of work.
• Develops and reviews project execution plans and resource allocation.
• Develops and reviews project cost estimates and forecasts.
• Develops and reviews project schedules.
• Monitors and reports progress of project execution.
• Delivers progress presentations to management.
• Manages interfaces for coordination and timely information delivery.
• Develops and maintains KPIs for budget, schedule and quality.
• Manages resources to meet budget, schedule and quality expectations.
• Leads change management to control scope changes and costs.
• Ensures deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborates with SMEs to improve engineering solutions and execution methods.
