Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a senior engineering professional to act as a technical specialist across multi-disciplinary projects. The role involves guiding design standards, ensuring quality, and delivering complex engineering analyses for large-scale infrastructure initiatives in a hybrid work environment based in Overland Park, Kansas.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 11 years of related experience, with familiarity in electrical engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Compliance with pre-employment onboarding requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance on department design guides, standards, systems, codes and policies; may own or develop engineering standards.
• Supports quality program adherence and continuous improvement efforts.
• Prepares complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects and analyzes equipment/material options.
• Manages budgets, schedules, and quality requirements; ensures appropriate task delegation.
• Coordinates with internal/external teams on complex projects and defines project schedules.
