Job summary

National Grid plc is hiring a Lead Project Manager for Gas Capital Project Delivery in the Waltham, MA area. This hybrid role leads LNG capital projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence across New England.

The role requires a strong project management background, experience in LNG facilities, and the ability to coordinate with engineering, operations, asset management, and external stakeholders. PMP or MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, engineering, and construction management required.
• PMP certification and/or MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading complex capital LNG projects from planning to closeout.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities balancing schedule, budget, quality, and operational objectives.
• Knowledge of LNG facilities, gas operations, and applicable industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver LNG capital projects for safe and reliable distribution across New England.
• Manage all phases of LNG projects, including facility development, system upgrades, and major modifications, within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Foster collaboration and accountability among internal departments, contractors, and stakeholders to maximize project performance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, permitting and National Grid standards.
• Maintain oversight of documentation, contracts, schedules, and financial reporting with regular updates to leadership.
