Job summary

Ellie Mental Health in Massachusetts is seeking licensed mental health counselors (LMHC) who want a different employment experience to ignite creativity while reducing barriers of traditional practice. This is a hybrid position, not a 100% remote role.

As a supervising Lead Mental Health Counselor, you will help expand access to quality care and uphold our values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral sciences from an accredited college/university.
• Massachusetts LMHC licensure required.
• Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and case notes.
• Knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing.
• Timely completion and submission of documentation.
• Ability to establish professional boundaries with clients.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and EHR systems.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other mental health counselors.
• Evaluate diagnoses, create and maintain treatment plans and documentation.
• Maintain a caseload of at least 25 client visits per week for full-time status.
• Provide excellent client service and collaborate with a dynamic team.
• Use creative interventions to help clients reach goals.
• Submit session documentation per guidelines.
• Coordinate with case managers, families, and other staff.
• Attend clinical staff meetings and trainings.
