We are seeking for an expert Senior Compiler Engineer to join our Compute Compiler Team, with a focus on upstream engagement with the LLVM ecosystem and advancing NVIDIA’s compiler technology through trusted, sustained participation in open‑source communities. In this role, you will work directly with LLVM, Clang, MLIR, and related open‑source projects to upstream compiler functionality that currently lives in NVIDIA’s downstream repositories. Your collaboration with the broader LLVM community to shape designs, influence technical direction, and ensure NVIDIA’s needs are met by supplying high‑quality, maintainable solutions that benefit the ecosystem as a whole.
We are seeking an experience engineer who proficient in combining deep compiler expertise with a strong appreciation for open‑source norms, collaboration, and long‑term stewardship. Your influence will come not from authority, but from technical credibility, respect for community processes, and sustained contribution to the health and evolution of the LLVM project. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
