Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a transportation driver in Massachusetts to provide safe, courteous service for residents and to support the Engage Life team. You will operate 7–16 passenger vehicles, assist residents, and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure vehicle readiness.

The role requires a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and knowledge of local streets. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of driving experience with knowledge of vehicle maintenance programs.
• Commercial driver's license required.
• Able to operate 7–16 passenger vehicles and related equipment.
• Experienced with vehicle emergency repairs and basic maintenance.
• Knowledge of streets within an 8-mile radius of the community.
• Position requires driving responsibilities with Company or personal vehicle.
• Must meet Atria Motor Vehicle Record policy standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive to social and other destinations according to schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of vehicles safely.
• Secure wheelchairs to restraining devices for trips.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Clean and service vehicles and report maintenance needs.
• Establish and monitor daily and weekly trip inspections and maintenance records.
• Deliver groceries and belongings to residents' apartments.
• Support Engage Life Department activities as needed.
• Submit travel expenses to the business office daily.
• Maintain a safe driving record and report unsafe conditions.
• Handle emergencies and basic First Aid.
• May perform other duties as needed.
