Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Highland Springs community in North Dallas, TX is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide screenings, evaluations, treatments and trainings for residents across the continuum of care.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, follow ASHA guidelines and state requirements, and support residents’ communication, swallowing and cognitive needs while documenting care and advocating for quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience with older adults preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Current valid state license for the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings and treatments.
• Follow ASHA requirements, state regulations, and policies; ensure compliant documentation and billing.
• Support residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional and clinical needs holistically.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to address resident needs.
