Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a compassionate Server to provide friendly, timely, and attentive meal service, creating a warm dining experience for residents and guests while upholding high standards of hospitality and care.

You will take orders, assist with menu choices, maintain clean dining areas, follow safety guidelines, support training of new team members, and contribute to a positive, respectful environment that supports our culture of teamwork and excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred.
• Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections.
• Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists.
• Support orientation and training of new servers as needed.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
