Job summary

True Connection Communities is seeking a part-time server at Pine Ridge of Garfield in Clinton Township, MI. The server will greet guests, take orders, relay requests to kitchen staff, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages in a residential senior living setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, stocking stations, and setting tables. Previous food service or hospitality experience is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent listening skills and detail oriented.
• Able to ask appropriate questions to deliver the best service possible.
• Experience in a hospitality, healthcare or service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers.
• Takes food and drink orders from customers and answers questions about menu items.
• Relays customers’ orders to other kitchen staff.
• Serves food and drinks to customers.
• Cleans assigned work areas, such as dining tables or serving counters.
• Stocks service stations, cabinets, and tables.
• Sets tables or prepares food stations for new customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
