Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a friendly Server at our Tampa Palms community to deliver warm, attentive dining experiences for residents and guests.

You will take meal orders, serve with care, and maintain a clean dining environment while supporting teammates. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule and every other weekend off, offering competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in dining or hospitality preferred.
• Enjoys working with seniors and delivering excellent service.
• Able to interact professionally with residents, guests, and teammates.
• Well organized with strong cleanliness and safety practices.
• Good judgment, time management and communication skills.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with meals and dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist selections.
• Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables and surrounding areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and checklists.
• Support orientation and training of new servers as needed.
• Maintain a high standard of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
