Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Server to join our dining services team. You will take orders, serve meals with a smile, and ensure residents enjoy a high standard of hospitality and menu knowledge.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in fine dining. This full-time/part-time role offers competitive wages, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in fine dining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses proper food handling and service techniques.
• Takes meal and drink orders and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensures residents/guests are satisfied with their meals.
• Keeps knowledge of specials and describes all food items to residents or guests.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of tables and surrounding area.
• Follows daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Assists with orientation and training of new servers.
• Follows safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Sets up and cleans the dining room, maintaining hospitality standards.
• Maintains appearance, cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Performs opening and closing checklist criteria.
• Assists in dining room and surrounding areas with flow and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
