Job summary

Solstice at Sun City West, a Provincial Senior Independent Living Community, is seeking enthusiastic full-time and part-time Servers to join our dining team. Experience in a Senior Living Community is preferred, with a focus on delivering friendly, respectful service to residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a dining setting preferred.
• Experience in a senior living community preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses proper food handling and service techniques.
• Takes meal and drink orders and serves in a friendly, timely manner.
• Ensures residents/guests are satisfied with meals.
• Maintains knowledge of specials and food descriptions for residents/guests.
• Keeps assigned tables and surrounding areas clean and ready.
• Follows daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedules.
• Assists with orientation and training of new servers.
• Adheres to safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Sets up and cleans the dining room to hospitality standards.
• Maintains appearance, cleanliness and hygiene according to policy.
• Completes opening and closing checklist criteria.
• Supports dining room flow and supplies placement.
• Other duties as assigned.
