Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Oswego Township is seeking a friendly Server to support our culinary team in a restaurant-style setting called the Bread Basket. You will help prepare and serve meals to residents with care and attention to quality and pace.

Responsibilities include serving food timely, engaging with residents in the Dining Room, washing dishes, and keeping the dining and dish areas clean. Full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts are available with daily pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Demonstrates a learner’s mindset with flexibility.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a busy dining room.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve food timely utilizing Bickford’s process.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans following Bickford’s dishwashing procedure.
• Complete assigned tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain dining room and dish machine area to meet Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness.
