Job summary

True Connection Communities in Hilliard, OH is hiring a Server to be the first and last contact with residents, ensuring timely delivery of meals and beverages.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and prior food service experience. You will greet customers, take orders, relay them to the kitchen, and help maintain clean dining areas, with an every-other-weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Excellent listening skills and detail oriented.
• Able to ask appropriate questions to deliver the best service possible.
• Experience in a hospitality, healthcare or service environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers.
• Takes food and drink orders from customers and answers questions about menu items.
• Relays customers’ orders to other kitchen staff.
• Serves food and drinks to customers.
• Cleans assigned work areas, such as dining tables or serving counters.
• Stocks service stations, cabinets, and tables.
• Sets tables or prepare foodstations for new customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
