Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a transportation assistant/driver to transport residents, staff, and visitors on scheduled routes. You will operate vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure vehicles are clean and ready for service.

The role requires at least 3 years of verifiable driving experience, 21+ to drive, and a current DOT medical certificate.

Qualifications

• CDL Class C license with passenger endorsement (preferred/required).
• DOT Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate required and maintained.
• Experience operating vehicles with wheelchair ramps and lifts, including securement systems.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents, staff, and visitors on scheduled and unscheduled appointments.
• Operate vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts.
• Operate passenger buses and sedans.
• Assist passengers with boarding and off-boarding from the vehicle.
• Prepare vehicles for use including pre/post-trip inspections and refueling.
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles.
• Log and track vehicle usage.
