Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist with medication administration for residents. The role includes direct personal care, encouraging participation in activities, and collaboration with housekeeping and maintenance to uphold the company’s mission.

Qualifications include at least 18 years old, a HS diploma or equivalent, and 1 year in medication assistance; LVN is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medication in a RCFE or similar setting.
• Completion of training/certification may be required per state regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment in accordance with safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
