Job summary

The Ivy Blue Oaks, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for full-time days in California. You will maintain the physical plant, common areas, and resident units, with duties including basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge and assisting with apartment turnovers.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least 18 years old, ability to operate MS Office, and a strong customer-service mindset to support residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to operate MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.
• COVID-19 vaccines or protections may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Assist with apartment turnovers – painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds including pool and spa if applicable.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
