Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Kokomo, IN is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, policies, and regulations. The Staff Nurse works in a collaborative, person-centered environment to support residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

The role requires an active Indiana nursing license, CPR/First Aid, weekend/holiday availability, and a commitment to ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in Indiana.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• Meet annual continuing education hours for nursing license.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations for nursing in assisted living.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents per physician orders, Primrose policies, and regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and residents to ensure holistic well-being.
• Maintain best practices in nursing care and documentation.
• Support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being through a person-centered approach.
