Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Laundry Aide for the 1st Shift in Evansville, IN. You will maintain residents' laundry, uphold cleanliness, and support a warm, respectful living environment for seniors.

This role emphasizes compassionate service, reliability, and teamwork within a friendly, team-oriented setting. Training provided; on-call flexibility may be required. Strong communication with residents and staff is essential, and safety procedures must be followed at all times.

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write and follow directions to accomplish the job.
• Ability to stay calm under stress and make decisions.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and officials.
• Must have compassion for the elderly and understand their needs.
• Able to work full or part time on a regular schedule, and on-call as needed.
• Must meet all state health requirements.
• Must perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Aufgaben

• Follow laundry schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor.
• Launder residents' personal laundry separately and label appropriately.
• Return laundry to the correct person and location.
• Clean and maintain laundry from other departments as required.
• Assist with folding, hanging and ironing of laundry items.
• Submit maintenance work orders and report unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate with Admissions to prepare move-in rooms.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed, including resident rooms and common areas.
• Follow soiled and clean laundry protocol and infection control policies.
• Log water or heat temperatures as required and attend staff meetings.
