Job summary

Fraser Villa, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is seeking a Cook for its Fraser, MI location. The role involves preparing meals per policy, reviewing menus, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely service in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures.
• Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must maintain sanitation and safety in dietary service areas.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus prior to preparation of food.
• Performs administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc.
• Ensures menus are maintained and filed in accordance with established policies.
• Coordinate services with other departments as necessary.
• Assists in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished.
