Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nutrition & Food Services Assistant at Atherton Place Senior Living. The role focuses on utility tasks like kitchen cleaning, sanitation, and dishwashing, with daily meals for residents.

Shift is 10:30 am – 7 pm with every other weekend rotation, contributing to a restaurant-style dining experience for residents. You will transport meal carts, assist with tray assembly, serving, and restocking while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining food

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospital foodservice and customer service experience are highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to HACCP and health department guidelines to ensure safety.
• Washes hands frequently and uses gloves appropriately.
• Follows infection prevention practices and hygiene expectations.
• Keeps work areas clean, organized, and free of spills and hazards.
• Monitors and records food and equipment temperatures and corrects issues.
• Labels, dates, and rotates foods and supplies properly.
• Operates equipment safely and escalates unsafe conditions.
• Works with teammates to meet department goals and maintains uniform standards.
