You will prepare and deliver meals under the direction of the Dining Services Director, ensuring nutrition, presentation, and a welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Formally trained in the culinary arts or have equivalent experience.
• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Food handlers permit or ability to obtain one as required by state regulations.
• Must read, write and speak English with residents and coworkers who speak English.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals under the guidance of the Dining Services Director.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing, and attractively presented.
• Greet elders, families, visitors, and team members in a friendly environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and equipment.
• Adhere to infection control and foodborne illness prevention procedures.
