Job summary

United Church Homes is seeking a Housing Manager for Mill Run Place to oversee operations, leasing, renewals, collections, and financial reporting at a senior living community. You will supervise staff, ensure occupancy targets are met, and maintain strong customer service with residents and applicants.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Regional Manager, complying with HUD guidelines, and managing vendor relations to deliver quality housing services and accurate monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Advises and makes recommendations through the Regional Manager regarding housing facility goals, objectives, programs, procedures, and policies.
• Reviews, implements and upholds HUD Handbook 4350.3 and internal policies.
• Leases apartments for new residents and handles move-in paperwork.
• Completes annual or 120-day recertifications, including background checks and income verifications.
• Maintains occupancy targets and communicates with applicants on the waiting list.
• Manages rent collection and monthly financial reconciliations.
• Prepares budgets, reports, and HUD vouchers as required.
• Oversees staff and coordinates with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Ensures compliance with Fair Housing laws and corporate policies.
