Presbyterian Homes & Services - Mount Carmel Bluffs in Dubuque, IA, seeks a Full Time Housekeeping Services Assistant (Housekeeper/Laundry Aide) to join its team. The role involves general cleaning, laundry duties, and maintaining a comfortable home for residents, with rotating weekends/holidays and day hours.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Services Manager, you will ensure supplies are stocked, equipment cleaned, and residents receive courteous service while adhering to policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and have personal integrity.
• Ability to take direction, prioritize duties and organize work with others.
• Demonstrated compatibility with Presbyterian Homes & Services' mission.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning, floor care, washing, sanitizing, polishing furnishings and waste removal.
• Sort, wash, dry and distribute linens; handle resident clothing per schedule.
• Stock supplies and replenish housekeeping and laundry items.
• Ensure equipment, tools and supplies are cleaned and stored properly at shift end.
