Job summary

The Waterford at Virginia Beach, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents. You will perform housekeeping tasks, assist with laundry, and ensure common areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Experience in senior living or similar settings is preferred. A passion for serving seniors and providing exceptional customer service will help you thrive in this friendly, supportive team and community-focused role.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living or similar environment.
• Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment needed for laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Familiarizes self with cleaning schedules of Residents’ apartments and common areas to assure completion of housekeeping tasks.
• Performs housekeeping, janitorial tasks, and minor repairs as assigned.
• Assures that other janitorial and repair requests are properly logged and monitors their completion.
• Provides laundry services as needed and/or directed.
