Job summary

Longhorn Village in Austin, TX is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist to uphold daily cleanliness of resident rooms, hallways and common areas within a 24-hour operation.

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will follow schedules, maintain sanitation standards, and communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure a safe, welcoming environment. Equal Opportunity Employer; experience in hospitality or geriatric care is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Stand or walk for 6-8 hours per shift.
• 1–3 years housekeeping in hospitality or health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Clean resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain an organized, safe work area.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Support the community's hospitality commitments to residents.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
