Discovery Senior Living seeks a dedicated Housekeeper at Savannah Square in Savannah, GA. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff, supporting daily operations with housekeeping and laundry services across apartments and shared spaces.

Typical schedule is 8:30am–5:30pm, full-time with some weekend work and holidays. The role offers competitive wages, full benefits, and opportunities for growth within a people-centered senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and supervisors.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, cleaning instructions, and procedures.
• Demonstrated interest in working with a senior population.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining a team player.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning in resident apartments, common areas, lounges, and offices.
• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and surfaces.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish bathrooms, sinks, and fixtures.
• Dust and sanitize furniture, lamps, glass, and woodwork.
• Report maintenance issues and supply needs to supervisor.
• Store cleaning chemicals safely and keep equipment orderly.
• Follow safety procedures, infection control practices, and community policies.
• Assist with community laundry and maintain laundry area cleanliness.
