MorningStar Senior Living in Santa Fe is seeking a full-time Housekeeper for a senior living community. Pay rate is $18.31 per hour with non-exempt status. Schedule to be discussed at interview, duties include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, and following infection control and safety procedures.

Responsibilities cover daily cleaning tasks, trash removal, and reporting hazards. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English; follow instructions; deal tactfully with residents, family members, and staff.
• Experience in housekeeping or health care facility preferred.
• Ability to use cleaning chemicals and maintain equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping tasks as assigned and follow daily procedures.
• Keep resident areas clean, safe, and presentable.
• Follow infection control and safety practices at all times.
• Clean bathrooms, rooms, and common areas; handle waste properly.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and store equipment properly.
