Job summary

Live 2 B Healthy of St. Croix Valley is seeking a Fitness Trainer to deliver safe, engaging group classes for older adults in senior living communities.

You will also provide Private One-on-One Training and Small Group sessions, focusing on balance, strength, and functional movement to support residents' health goals. The role emphasizes program quality, safety, and clear documentation, with on-site sessions and a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior fitness, personal training, group fitness, or rehab-based exercise.
• Current CPR/AED certification is required.
• Current nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group Fitness Classes: Conduct scheduled on-site fitness classes for older adults.
• Private & Small Group Training: Deliver one-on-one and small group sessions based on individual goals.
• Ensure Safety & Inclusivity: Monitor form and modify activities to support all fitness levels.
• Build Positive Relationships: Create a motivating, respectful environment for residents and staff.
• Follow Program Guidelines: Adhere to Live 2 B Healthy protocols and curricula.
• Communication & Reporting: Document attendance, feedback, and client notes with the Fitness Program Manager.
