Job summary

Park Avenue Lifestyle is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to coordinate activities and supervise volunteers, ensuring residents have an engaging daily life. The role involves planning a diverse activity calendar, arranging spiritual and social events, and collaborating with the Sales Director on community programs.

Responsibilities include driving residents to outings, tracking attendance, and producing a monthly newsletter to inform families and referral sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Assisted Living Activities certification, if required by State.
• Must possess or have ability to obtain a valid state driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities to provide an enjoyable and stimulating living experience for residents.
• Supervises volunteers and coordinates evening/weekend activities.
• Plans a varied monthly activity calendar addressing resident needs and preferences.
• Arranges spiritual activities in and outside the community per resident preferences.
• Maintains attendance records and community calendar.
• Drives community vehicle for resident trips as assigned.
• Participates in Family Nights and coordinates with Sales Director on programs.
• Oversees exercise opportunities to improve mobility and social interaction.
• Prepares a monthly community newsletter informing residents, families, and referral sources.
