You will take meal orders, ensure proper presentation, assist in plating, and maintain dining room standards to enhance resident life and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or food-service-related industry.
• Able to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a strong ability to multi-task.
• Possesses good communication, customer service and people skills.
• Is professional, patient and able to satisfy a demanding customer base.
• Experience working with a senior population is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Taking resident meal orders patiently and cheerfully.
• Checking station tables for settings and cleanliness.
• Reading the menu to assist residents with selections.
• Assisting in plating and portion controls of appetizers, salads, soups, beverages and desserts.
• Bussing tables at the end of the meal.
