Job summary

Country Meadows in Allentown, PA is seeking a Dining Services Manager for a full-time dayshift (10am–6pm) to support campus operations. The role includes rotating weekends every third and every other holiday, managing meals, inventory, and sanitation to meet resident needs with high standards.

Two years of cooking experience with supervisory exposure are preferred, along with a National Sanitation Certificate or plan to obtain it within six months.

Qualifications

• Two years of cooking experience, preferably in Senior Living.
• Some supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in quantity cooking, scheduling, inventory control, and purchasing.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have a National Sanitation Certificate or be willing to complete a National Sanitation Course within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production records, controls portion sizes, and communicates with the team to minimize waste.
• Helps maintain sufficient inventory.
• Prepares, cooks, and presents meals on time to meet residents' needs.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness standards for regulatory compliance.
• Provides input on new menu items and recipes.
• Trains new co-workers in food prep, equipment use, and sanitation procedures.
• Keeps temperature logs and cleaning charts.
