Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a server for its California-based Independent Living communities. You will take orders, serve meals, and ensure residents enjoy flavorful, well-presented dishes in a hospitable setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining dining room cleanliness, following safety protocols, assisting with training, and helping with opening/closing duties. Prior experience in fine dining is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in fine dining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes meal/drink orders and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.
• Assures resident/guest is satisfied with their meals.
• Maintains knowledge of specials and food items and explains them to residents or guests.
• Maintains clean tables and surrounding areas.
• Follows cleaning schedules and assists with training new servers.
• Follows safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Sets up and cleans the dining room to hospitality standards.
• Maintains appearance, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Performs opening and closing checklist criteria.
• Assists in dining room flow, organization and supplies placement.
• Other duties as assigned.
