Job summary

Glen Eddy, part of the St. Peter’s Health Partners family, is seeking compassionate Wait Staff to join our dining team in a restaurant‑style setting for residents.

Provide friendly, timely service, clearly communicate daily specials, and ensure tables are clean and properly set while collaborating with kitchen staff to serve meals promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous wait staff or customer service experience preferred (especially in hospitality or healthcare settings).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and write at a 6th grade level.
• Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, timely, and professional table service to residents during mealtimes.
• Communicate daily specials and menu offerings clearly and enthusiastically.
• Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and residents feel valued and attended to.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure meals are served correctly and promptly.
• Maintain a warm and respectful environment in the dining room.
• Maintains high standards for personal appearance and hygiene.
• Follows all food service department policies and safety rules.
