Job summary

Trinity Health Senior Communities at Marycrest in Livonia, MI is seeking Servers/Waitstaff to assist with dining service functions, serving meals in the dining room and delivering trays to residents while upholding safety and quality standards.

You’ll work with a supportive elder-care community within a large Catholic health system, enjoying great hours with every other weekend off, tuition reimbursement, and a friendly team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• On-the-job training provided; previous food service experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric population preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all dining service functions according to policies.
• Serve meals timely and presentably; set up tables and dining areas.
• Deliver trays to residents' rooms/apartments and assist with dishwashing.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and follow sanitary policies.
• Ensure dietary procedures are followed and meals prepared safely.
