Dial is seeking a Dining Room Server in Peoria, IL to assist with serving meals and beverages, bussing tables, and maintaining a clean dining area.

The role emphasizes providing excellent resident service, accurate order taking, and friendly interactions with residents and fellow team members. Ability to handle POS transactions and maintain hygiene is essential, with a flexible schedule and growth opportunities within a caring senior living community.

Qualifications

• Must be age 16 or older.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
• Patience and a customer-focused attitude.
• Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist residents throughout the dining experience.
• Take all orders and close out orders within the Dial designated point of sale system.
• Provide customer service to residents to allow high level of resident satisfaction while serving meals.
• Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal.
• Inform residents what foods are available on the day's menu.
• Address residents by name and their food/beverage likes and dislikes.
• Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident.
• Keep water glasses and coffee cups filled.
• Clear tables and bus tables after the meal.
• Vacuum dining room carpet after each meal.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and operational information.
• Report any on-the-job injuries to supervisor by end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned
