Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities is seeking a Dining Room Server to assist in the Culinary department by delivering excellent service to Residents and enriching their daily dining experiences. You will be trained and mentored with the team to cater to Residents' needs and preferences, while building meaningful relationships across the community.

Qualifications

• Desire to impact others' lives through excellent customer service.
• Ambition to develop relationships with Residents.
• No prior experience needed; training provided.
• Minimum 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Providing Residents with the highest quality of customer service.
• Communicating with and observing Residents.
• Taking Residents' orders and serving meals and beverages.
• Set up and decorate dining room tables for mealtimes.
• Cleaning and sanitizing dining room, menus, kitchen, and other areas as directed.
• Assisting with beverage, snack, dessert, salads, and condiments prep.
• Transports used dishes, waste, and used linen to collection areas.
• Follows daily task assignments and ensures work is completed.
• Notes Refrigeration temperatures.
• Learns Residents' names, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Assists with special events and catering functions across the community.
• Assists with plating and delivery to Residents' rooms if requested.
• Other duties as assigned by Culinary Director or Executive Director.
