AdviniaCare Scallop Shell in Wakefield, RI is seeking a Food Service Director to lead menu development and dining operations for our residents. You will supervise cooks and servers, ensure safe, compliant food handling, and manage events, costs, and supplier relationships to deliver high-quality meals and memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, including those with special dietary requirements
• Supervise and manage a team of cooks, servers, and other food service staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
• Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with our executive chef to plan and execute special events and meals, including birthday celebrations, holiday meals, and themed dining experiences
• Monitor food costs and inventory to ensure effective budgeting and cost management
• Develop and maintain relationships with local food suppliers to source the freshest and highest-quality ingredients
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and sanitation standards, including regular inspections and maintenance of equipment
