Harvest Home is looking for an experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team in a modern industrial kitchen in Mount Pleasant, WI. You’ll prepare meals from recipes, follow menus, and engage residents in the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional food preparation is preferred.
• Maintain grooming and follow dress requirements.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Willingness to learn and support residents’ dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and maintain reliable attendance according to scheduled work times.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Review dietary restrictions with Dining Service Coordinator and Nursing staff; prepare dishes accordingly.
• Prepare and serve meals according to menu plan and meal times, involving residents as they are able.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, comfortable dining area.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, including cleaning walls, fridges, freezers, stove and ovens.
• Record food temperatures daily on temp logs provided.
• Report any abuse or suspected abuse to the appropriate authorities.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
