Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents and guests in our senior living communities. You will follow menus and recipes, plate with care, and support other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical schooling and at least three years of line cook experience, plus strong communication skills. Comprehensive health, dental, vision, 401(k) and wellness benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
• Minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform duties as assigned.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and prepared; communicate shortages to supervisor.
• Maintain freshness, proper seasoning, and safety in all foods served.
