Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a reliable Part-Time Cook (Every other weekend) to support the culinary department in a senior living community. The role involves meal preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and assisting the Culinary Coordinator to ensure high-quality dining experiences for residents, visitors, and staff.

The candidate should have 2+ years in culinary/hospitality, follow recipes accurately, and demonstrate strong teamwork and organizational skills while maintaining food safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in culinary or hospitality services.
• Demonstrates knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion controls.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals according to menu and recipes.
• Assist with serving meals in dining room and maintain dining areas.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining spaces per schedule.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety; use PPE as required.
• Assist and supervise Culinary/Resident Assistants when needed.
• Report unsafe conditions and participate in safety meetings.
