Job summary

The Meadows of Napa Valley is a not-for-profit Life Plan Community in the heart of Wine Country, Napa, CA. We offer resort-style services, three onsite restaurants, and comprehensive healthcare including assisted living and skilled nursing.

We are hiring a Cook II to join our culinary team and support high-quality meals for residents. As a Cook II you will prepare assigned stations under the lead/sous chef, adhere to dietary restrictions, and maintain rigorous food safety standards in a

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 3-4 years of cook/sous chef/grill cook experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare high quality food for residents.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff and residents.
• CPR and first aid training may be required per state/local guidelines.
• Background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned stations for shift.
• Under lead cook/sous chef, prepare components of entrees and items per dietary restrictions.
• Maintain kitchen food safety and sanitary handling per regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
