Merrill Gardens at Campbell is seeking a Senior Living Cook to support residents with high-quality meals, following dietary requirements and safety standards in our Campbell community. The role requires passion for seniors, minimum 5 years in quality food prep, scratch cooking in high-volume settings, and proficiency with computer tools (MS Outlook, Word).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality food preparation.
• Experience in scratch cooking in a high-volume, fine dining setting.
• 1 year of previous dining experience in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing all food items following production amounts, proper recipes, and procedures.
• Ensures all food items are prepared in a timely fashion; uses batch-cooking and cook to order when appropriate.
• Prepares all food products to ensure Food Safety and meets dietary requirements of residents.
• Attends all dining services meetings and in-service trainings.
• Maintains kitchen sanitation and safety standards and documents temperature charts as required.
