Job summary

Stellar Living is seeking a dedicated Cook for a large senior living community in Gilbert, AZ. The role involves preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to health and safety regulations and our company standards.

You will work with a caring team to provide nutritious, appealing meals and support residents’ dining experiences, with opportunities for advancement and on-demand pay options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar position.
• Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred
• Safe food handling techniques are required
• Ability to read and understand recipes
• Work in a team environment
• Work flexible shifts
• Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
• Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
