Qualifications

• Experience in senior living or a similar environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of production methods, portion control, and food safety/handling is required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items including grill, sauté, salad bar, and service line.
• Follow standardized recipes to ensure proper preparation, portioning, taste, and presentation.
• Taste and check food for quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all prep and service areas.
• Support a safe, sanitary kitchen environment and maintain temperature logs.
