Job summary

Blue Jay Springs Senior Living in Green Bay is seeking a Cook to join our team of dedicated professionals. You will ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to residents, follow recipes, and maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures while preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner as assigned.

The role requires at least one year of cooking experience (including some short-order and quantity cooking), strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience (including some short order cooking).
• Experience with quantity cooking is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency in products.
• Prepares and serves food for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned.
• Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures in all food preparation areas.
• Orders, receives, and rotates stock with supervision by the Food Service Director.
• Supports meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.
